21-tab desktop app, licensing, and a redesigned marketing site

The current shipping state of AIOS: a 21-tab local-first desktop app with licensing and billing in place, and a freshly redesigned marketing site.

  • 21-tab desktop app — Tauri + React frontend over a local FastAPI backend, covering chat, research, web, files, vision, folders, browser automation, an orchestrator/agent bridge, data lab, context library, knowledge base, planner, builder, discovery, packages, model management, prompts, system, and settings.
  • Licensing & billing wired up — offline-verifiable license tokens, with account/checkout flows running on Dodo Payments and authentication handled separately by Clerk.
  • Marketing site redesign — this site’s own narrative-scroll landing page shipped, giving AIOS a distinct front door from the desktop app itself.
  • Desktop visual identity still in progress — a copper/charcoal design direction has been fully specified as an implementation plan but is not yet applied to the desktop app itself; the app’s visual design remains intentionally unset until that lands.
